What Is the CDHCI Program?
The Cilent-Directed Home Care Invocing (CDHCI) program, facilitated by Alberta Health Services (AHS), empowers eligible Albertans to choose their own home care provider. Instead of being assigned a provider, you have the freedom to select a company that best fits your needs — like Willow Haven Home Care.
As an approved provider, we simplify the entire process. we work directly with ASH-Blue Cross on your behalf, so you don’t have to deal with complicated paperwork or upfront payments. Your focus stays on what matters most — your health and well—being.
Who Qualifies for the CDHCI Program?
The CDHCI program is open to Alberta residents who need home care but can safely manage at home. There is no age restriction, but a professional assessment through AHS is required. You may qualify if you or your loved one:
Be a resident of Alberta
Have an active AHS Case Manager
Undergo a home care assessment through AHS (call 811 to get started)
